We produce interesting, informative, colourful, and eye-catching A5 size magazines, filled with a mixture of the latest community news, restaurant reviews, beauty, health, food, interiors and a good selection of local advertising. 25 Years of Print Media Experience
ABC Magazines are owned and run by Richard Wilson, who has 25 years of experience in the media industry, having worked for some of the leading national, regional and local media companies in the country.
Richard started his career working in London for the Guardian and Observer newspapers, where he gained training second to none and an insight into how print media advertising works and how it benefits companies in every sector. He worked in Media London for the next two years, selling over a million pounds worth of advertising every quarter.
Spells working for quality daily, weekly and monthly publications followed over the next seven years. This saw Richard gain further experience at the Manchester Evening News, Yorkshire Evening Post, Cheshire Life and the Newcastle Evening Chronicle, gaining unrivalled skills, experience and knowledge of the industry. He has also had brief spells in outdoor and radio advertising but having sampled other forms of advertising, he found what he always knew, that print media was where his passion was and more importantly was convinced that print media is the most successful form of advertising.
Having built up extensive knowledge in the industry, he launched ABC magazines in 2008 and now, 14 years later, has a portfolio of 12 successful local magazines, including four ABC titles, two Select magazines, four Local Directories and two Puzzle Time magazines. He also oversees a very successful leaflet design, print and distribution arm to the business, as well as a bespoke brochure service.
